Smart Campsite Management

Our Campsite Monitoring Station (CMS) is an initiative led by Alpha AI to safeguard the campsite environment and provide real time insight to general public. It is a trial project supported by the HKSTP Co-Creation Fund and Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD).
The objectives of the installation include:

Prompt detection and response to issues such as long-staying campers, excessive rubbish, or fire activities.

The AI detection of campsite tent occupancy assists in identifying long-staying campers, allowing management staff to allocate resources more efficiently.

Identify excessive waste accumulations to facilitate timely cleanup and maintain campsite cleanliness
Through the deployment of the monitoring station and AI data analytics, our monitoring station aims to proactively address management challenges, promote sustainable practices, and uphold the integrity of our precious campsite ecosystems.
Privacy Protection
The Campsite Monitoring Station (CMS) installed under this Scheme will only capture campsite areas.
Alpha AI shall ensure the implementation of CMS is in strict compliance with relevant laws of Hong Kong. Taking reference from international practices and the Guidance on CCTV Surveillance Practices issued by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Alpha AI shall display conspicuous notices in close proximity to the CCTVs, explicitly informing the public that the CCTVs are in operation.

我們的露營地監控站（CMS）是由 Alpha AI 領導的倡議，旨在保護露營地環境並向公眾提供即時洞察。這是由香港科技園Co-Creation Fund和漁農自然護理署（AFCD）支持的試點項目。
安裝的目標包括：

及時檢測和應對長期露營者、過多垃圾或火災等問題。

通過 AI 檢測露營帳篷佔用情況，幫助識別長期露營者，使管理人員能更有效地分配資源。

辨識過多廢物累積，促進及時清理，保持露營地清潔。
通過部署監控站和 AI 數據分析，我們的監控站旨在主動應對管理挑戰，促進可持續實踐，維護我們寶貴的露營地生態系統的完整性。
隱私保護
本計劃下安裝的露營地監控站（CMS）將僅捕捉露營地區域。
Alpha AI 將確保 CMS 的實施嚴格遵守香港相關法律。參考國際慣例和香港個人資料私隱專員公署發行的《閉路電視監察實務指引》，Alpha AI 將在閉路電視攝錄機附近顯眼位置展示顯眼告示，明確告知公眾閉路電視正在運作。
